We import Norwegian wool felt boots ("Lobbens"), an excellent choice for our long and
cold northern winters. Popular in Scandinavia since 1955, and based on traditional folk styles, these boots are growing in popularity in North America wherever snow and cold are the main features of the winter
landscape.
In the Yukon and Alaska these boots have been put to the test, in temperatures anywhere from -5 C to -50 C. They keep the warmth in and the cold out.
A special advantage of the wool felt is that it "breathes" and you never get clammy feet. Their special sole features a unique tread which is very positive in snowy and icy conditions. They are durable, yet light on your feet.
These qualities make the Lobbens popular with dog mushers in Canada and the United States.
